Non-Newtonian flows in porous media are attracting considerable attention in various scientific communities due to their wide range of applications. From energy and environmental technologies to advanced materials and biomedical processes, these flows are at the heart of many scientific and industrial challenges.

However, this field presents several open questions that require multidisciplinary expertise. The workshop aims to bring together experts from different fields to discuss common challenges, compare methodological approaches, and highlight the latest scientific advances. We seek to improve our understanding of the underlying physics and develop innovative theoretical, numerical and experimental methods to address the complexity of fluid flows in porous media by promoting dialogue across theory, experiments and simulations.

Topics will include, but are not limited to:
  • Industrial applications
  • Viscoelastic fluids
  • Yield stress fluids
  • Thixotropic fluids
  • Foam flow
  • Suspensions
  • Multiphase flow
  • Biorheology

You are welcome to participate from 11 to 15 May 2026 in Cargese, Corsica, France.

We look forward to productive discussions and new collaborations
